The People's School for Marxist-Leninist Studies presents a 1929 article entitled "The Party and Party Discipline" by V.I. Lenin from Vol. 8, No. 3 of "The Communist," the former theoretical organ of the Communist Party USA, and the current theoretical organ of the Party of Communists USA. This is a collection of passages from comrade Lenin regarding the importance of discipline, and how it is related to the functioning of a Bolshevik Party. As comrade Lenin said: "Bolsheviks could not have maintained themselves in power for two-and-a-half months, let alone two-and-a-half years, without the strictest, truly iron discipline in our Party...” ("Left-Wing" Communism: an Infantile Disorder, 1920).
