Description

In this episode, we caught up with 18-year-old Leila Rehan one week before she packed up her GRIT and moved from Canada to Australia for six years of medical school! Leadership is Leila’s top value but public speaking was her worst nightmare until she took an online course through Harvard. By the end of this life-changing course, Leila realized she actually loved the thing she feared! Sound familiar? With this insight and her GRIT, she navigated countless obstacles to create a public speaking club at her high school and be of service to her peers. Throughout our chat, you’ll hear many examples of how Leila’s passion for leadership is rooted in her desire to inspire other young women to be seen and heard. Leila’s well-established leadership style is to start from Trust, choose the path filled with challenges and then share what she’s learned along the way. Prepared to be inspired as you hear where she’s been and where she’s going!

Thanks to Chef Gillian Towell for crafting the introduction!
