ABOUT THE PLAY
Jordan faces the line between reality and delusion, questioning the liminal space they live in while interacting with Sawyer and Chris. A choice has to be made under the differing opinions of the two as Jordan explores what it means to exist under a starry night sky in a society that doesn't quite understand.

PLAYWRIGHT’S NOTE
One of the reasons playwriting is unique and wonderful is that it's the first step in a big process. This workshop is the moment where the rest of the team joins, and you see what happens when your play is given to the people who can do something amazing with it. This play was a product of my tired and frustrated brain as I neared the end of my college career. It was a way for me to talk about things that I thought only made sense to me. Now, bringing this story to others, seeing them resonate with the characters, is both mind boggling and beautifully comforting.

I like the mental awareness of THE YELLOW LINE and how it plays with somewhat abstract ideas about being a person, existing, and the liminal space. I'm excited about hearing the contrasting characters and how they interact with one another coming to life.
