So this week's genre was going to be Powerful Vocals - Tracks that are reknowned for their amazing vocals; but given the heat I decided to change that up instead and look at what's new in the world of deep, melodic and progressive house, and mix them together in to a slow, hazy days of summer mix. If you know me, I'm somewhat of a music maximalist, I love tracks that have lots of textures and colours and instruments, and boy this mix has layers and textures galore. Breakbeats, drum and bass beats, dual vocals, sitars, malimba, spanish guitars, piano, they're all in there.
