Welcome to Heeley Writers R.I.P. This was an organisation that myself and many friends enjoyed the support of some twenty odd years ago. (Very odd years!) It was for a long time a member group of The Federation of Worker Writers and Community Publishers. A left-wing gobfull of a title if ever there was one! However, it too was a worthwhile effort until someone made off with the funds! This is side one of 'Pieces of Eight', a tape of poems and stories recorded by the group in 1991.
