My set up: A&H 4 channel digital in/out (also got great soundcard inside), Ableton live, Traktor, APC 40 Midi Controller for Ableton. Everything connected to the mixer, midi clock master is run by mixer so all tools and software are slave to this. For this specific set up it's more handy to use 2 pc/laptops.
