In a recent article I wrote I spoke about the story of Scrooge in a Christmas Carol which is a classic movie. This is a classical example of how an archetypal story can play out.
Scrooge had a horrendously sad upbringing and I can only imagine put up a wall of defence around himself as a defence mechanism.
However this wall was built so strong and so big that although it may have kept out what he considered negative, nothing good could come into his life either, or when something good did come in, he would inevitably loose it. As within so without playing out.
