FKOF Premiere!
The latest @influxaudio release sees label bosses @tikandborrow return with some brand new material alongside a collab with @aztek-musik and a remix from @mungkdubs.
We've got the premiere of 'Mallet Dub' and you can grab the pre-order from the buy link. The 'Architecture EP' drops on Monday 25/5/20 and will be available from all the usual suspects.
"Tik&Borrow are back on In:flux Audio with their brand new EP 'Architecture', a release that sees the duo further expand their twist on 140 following their 2019 EPs 'Angel' and 'Functions'. On this latest offering, the lads offer up three original tracks, the first of which is a collaboration with label regular Aztek entitled 'Timelapse' - a perfect blend of both production outfits sounds - the deep dark atmospheres of Aztek and the crisp synth work of T&B.
"The next two originals on the release see Tik&Borrow back on the buttons, with 'Apexx' being a sub bass mover full of crisp drums and breakbeats whilst 'Mallet Dub' is a straight up stepper that showcases the duos love of playing fast and loose with note structure.
"On remix duty with have the mighty Mungk stepping up to put his wicked twitst on 'Apexx' - and what a result it is. A soundsystem tune if we ever heard one, this one utilises the synth sounds of the original, but then it is all Mungk as he goes all in on those LFOs to help obliterate any speaker set!"
