Matty Innocent is a DJ, Producer, and recording engineer based in England, Playing and producing underground House, Tech House, and Techno. He is the creator of the event and events management company and party brand DISTINCTION and is a resident DJ and producer for *Riffraff. He first got into the music scene in the early 1990s taking influence from the likes of The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers forming his diverse and original sound.
Matty’s love of music and the underground music scene drew him into the world of musical performance and he has been DJing for over 25 years with several UK club residencies and hosts numerous shows on Riffraff radio, Unite Radio, and other international stations.
Matty is a current student at Teesside University studying a BSC Hons Degree in Music Technology and is going from strength to strength in his field undertaking all aspects of recording, mixing, mastering, and broadcast. Music and the industry are Matty’s passions, and his drive and determination are second to none. Music flows through his veins and it is easy to see when you are around him.
Matty’s blend of endless grooves and deep dark bass-driven music is what sets him apart, using a blend of live recording techniques and digital production to deliver his unique blend of full-tilt, High energy floor fillers that create the right vibe every time. His music is original and forward-thinking with lots of energy and style with sometimes provocative subject matter.
