I'm very excited to share the fifth and final mix in a very special project for the summer of 2022: 75 Shadows, my tribute to one of the most important labels in electronic music history ... Moving Shadow!
This is slightly delayed due to travel and an injury, but the concept was that over a five week period I will be releasing a new 15 track Moving Shadow tribute mix weekly, each dedicated to a specific year from 1993 to 1997. I think that when you hear the whole series, you will be able to understand just what an amazing and creative label Moving Shadow was, as in the space of just five years they released everything from euphoric breakbeat hardcore to sinister darkcore to jungle anthems to rugged hardstep to smoothly atmospheric drum n' bass to fearsome techstep, and beyond.
