Pastors Steve, Megan, and Brandon discuss John 1:19-28. John the Baptist describes himself as “…not the Messiah,” but the one who prepares the way. People were so eager for some answers, direction, and salvation. They wanted to turn John into something he wasn’t so they could know what to do and who to follow. In our rush to find something to give us hope, we might grab onto the wrong thing. It’s always worth being patient to discern what God is really doing.
