Pastors Megan, Brandon, and Steve discuss John 11:21-44. The passage is often read at funerals. It shows us that Jesus demonstrates that he has power over death – Jesus is life itself. But also, it shows us the power of the community gathered in faith for the sake of each other. It says, “The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth, and his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, 'Unbind him, and let him go.’” Like these people gathered, Jesus invites us in to being new life for other people.
