BIO:
John Evexc was born in Germany in 1981. Already in his late childhood John was an enthusiastic listener of electronic music. His passion for playing vinyl began in 2001 with a friend and today's DJ colleagues. In the beginning it was the hard monotonous techno sounds that he loved, later the enthusiasm for melodic techno came more and more. Releases from artists like Stephan Bodzin, Nathan Fake, Extrawelt, James Holden, Booka Shade, etc. have strongly influenced his sound. After several series of events under various pseudonyms and an extensive party life, John decided to move to the Canary Islands in 2007. Inspired by the island he founded his project Sonne Strand und Meer in 2015 to give more attention to the music he loves and lives on.
