Jazzy Me is the second Solo project of Shereen Abdo, The project has been going live for almost a year through Cairo’s most famous live music events & venues (Cairo Jazz Festival - Cairo Jazz Club – Underground – Maadi House American Club - Rawi - Le Deck - Room Art space), Introducing the best of Jazz Standard Tunes in various instrumental forms.
Shereen Abdo is a young vocalist and a key figure in this emerging folk and Jazz music movement. Her radical derives from a dual vision that is simultaneously conservative regarding traditional folk and Jazz yet able to embrace diverse and progressive ways of producing sound. Her most important interactions were working with the two international Jazz icons, Ziad Rahbani and Fathy Salama.
