英文無中生有四招：
1.不定冠
冠詞之後遇到母音開頭的單字 無中生有 應加入 / -n / 的鼻音
This is an apple.
This is an ox.
2.定冠詞 the 之後遇到母音開頭的單字(指發音 不是指拼音) the 需要應唸成 / -i /
the apple
the hour
the officer
the owl
*the universe (第一個發音是 / -j / 判為子音 故唸原來的 第十一號母音 schwa)
*the university
3.動詞加上後綴詞 -ed / -ing / -er 時, 遇到單字本身剛好是 “d" / "t" 結尾時, -ed 這個後綴多出一個音節, 唸成 / -id /

*three-legged 三隻腳的 （不是 d t , 還是多一個音節）
*learned 有學問的 （ditto)
4.短母音加上後綴詞 -ed / -ing / -er 的時候, 重覆最後那個子音
