Julia Albani (Herford, 1977)
Julia Albani é curadora, crítica e estrategista de comunicação, que inspira e facilita o intercâmbio entre indivíduos e instituições nos campos da humanização da arquitetura e do urbanismo. Vive e trabalha em Lisboa. Estudou História de Arte e Arquitetura, Filosofia, e Literatura em Dresden, Bolonha, Barcelona e Berlim. Foi Directora de Projecto no Swiss Architecture Museum em Basileia (2007-2009), Co-Curadora da representação Portuguesa à Bienal de Arquitetura de Veneza em 2010; Coordenadora do departamento curatorial da Trienal de Arquitetura de Lisboa (2009-2012), Co-Directora de BUREAU N em Berlim, Basel e Lisboa (2012-2016). Em 2016 juntou-se ao Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) como Diretora de Comunicação, e desde Setembro 2018 é a responsável das relações internacionais do CCA.

Concerned with publishing in architecture and curious about diverse perspectives taking shape of a book, a magazine or a newspaper, A PUTA DA LEITURA emerges as a pop-up book store, organised by Antecâmara Radio and Gallery, and curated by Julia Albani.
A PUTA DA LEITURA: BOOK REVIEWS is a podcast of audio book reviews, that were produced for and discussed during the TALKS.
Julia Albani is Lisbon-based curator, critic and communication strategist, specialized in inspiring and facilitating exchange between individuals and institutions within the fields of humanizing architecture and urbanism. She has studied Art and Architectural History, Philosophy and Literature in Dresden, Bologna, Barcelona and Berlin. She has been Managing Director at the Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel (2007-2009), Co-Curator of the Portuguese representation at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2010, Head of the curatorial department at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (2009-2012), and was Co-Director of BUREAU N in Berlin, Basel and Lisbon (2012-2016). In 2016, she joined the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) as Associate Director, Communications, and, since September 2018, leads the CCA’s international relations.
Cooper de Serpa Soares Wood is a 7-year old translator and Lego engineer who loves donuts, audiobooks and podcasts, drawing 2-dimensional video games, exploring the beach, being read to by his pirate parents, and learning to read.
Jeff Wood is an American actor and writer living in Berlin and Lisbon. He was a founding member of the Brooklyn-based art/film group Rufus Corporation directed by Eve Sussman, who’s works are now in the collections of the MoMA, The Whitney, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. His cinematic novel The Glacier was published by Two Dollar Radio (US) and he was an editor of the international literary journal Berlin Quarterly. His recent invisiblecinemaproject Black Box, withcomposer Johannes Malfatti,is a 1-hour poetic encounter with a sonic object. He has collaborated with Portuguese artist Nuno Cera and he recently acted in Julian Rosefeldt’s Euphoria, shot in Kyiv and premiering later this year.
