In honour of National Reconciliation Week, Awesome Humans had the pleasure of having a yarn to the inspirational Linda Biumaiwai, who is a proud Mununjali woman from the Beaudesert area of the Yugambeh language region.
Linda has been leading the way by empowering young Indigenous Australians; she has contributed too many community programs such as the Preston Campbell Foundation, Titans for Tomorrow and Deadly Dreamers. As well as providing advice to both the Office of the Commonwealth Games and Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) as a member of GOLDOC’s Indigenous Working Group, along with other Yugambeh leaders.
