Shortly after Adam Brody moved to Brooklyn, he started to miss the routines, sounds and smells of the farms he’d grown up and worked on, around the world. So he started a cricket farm, in his studio apartment, to fill the void. He watched the wooden box sit quietly in his kitchen for weeks, as the crickets hatched and grew inside. And then, the chirping started.
