On this 3rd Sunday of Easter Father Garry Koch tells us that when the risen Jesus appeared to his disciples he was familiar, yet barely recognizable. They were encountering Him in a new way. Because of Jesus' death and resurrection we are able to encounter Him everyday through the sacraments.
