The christian life is a "race" that is difficult. This passage of Hebrews encourages us to not grow weary. If you're struggling with escapism or throwing in the towel, or your tempted to dig in and solve life's problems on your own by over-fixating on the burden, you need a gentle reminder that you're a child of the God of the universe.
