1 Peter 4:12–13 says: “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”
You may also be glad and joyful about the journey God has for those He plans to use. The new things He wants to do may seem strange to a generation focused on themselves. Many people believe that everything should revolve around their happiness and comfort.
It's important to understand that God's ways and thoughts are far greater than ours. Let's open our hearts and minds today to embrace the unfamiliar journey that He has for us. Don't be caught off guard by the fiery trials. Instead, rejoice. We can trust God in the journey because His glory awaits us on the other side.
