I don’t know what our generation will face in the future, but I sense it won’t be easy. The Bible warns us of wars, rumors of wars, famines, and pestilence—signs of disruption on nearly every level. This world is experiencing birth pains, anticipating the return of Jesus Christ. A worldwide rebellion against His lordship is looming.
Yet even now, you and I have a chance to turn to God with all our hearts and seek His forgiveness. Today, you can receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Even in the midst of the floods surrounding you, you can choose to shout for joy and declare, as King David once did: “I will trust in God.”
Though the mountains may fall into the sea and the waters may rise, keep your heart steadfast in faith. Embrace this opportunity that God has given you to trust Him fully.
