Paul's teaching sheds light on our current season. We’re in a season when institutions like marriage, family, and parenthood are being mocked and undermined. Children are being exposed to Godlessness through indoctrination. The pursuit of pleasure is prioritized over finding purpose in life. Immoral lifestyles are celebrated while prayer is being removed from our schools and churches, even compromising their beliefs, discrediting the Bible, and beginning to resist the truth.
We need to stand firm in our faith in the midst of these challenges. Let us actively counteract the godless influences by intentionally instilling godly principles and values into the next generation.
We should also uphold the importance of prayer in each of our lives. In the face of all this pressure, let's remain steadfast in our commitment to God's Word.
