Description

In Mark 10:35, two disciples asked Jesus to grant them seats on His right and left hand in His glory. Jesus explained that it was not His to give but the Father's choice.

James later wrote that we often ask for things beneath what God wants to give us, seeking temporary joy instead of what truly satisfies us forever. We tend to gravitate towards what we think will make us happy and successful.

Are we seeking temporary joys or aligning ourselves and our requests with what God knows will truly satisfy us? Instead of asking for things we think will make us happy, let's seek God's guidance for what He knows will bring lasting joy. Let's trust in His plan and surrender our desires to Him, knowing He has our best interests at the center of His heart.

It's time to pray.
