Matthew 17:19–21 says, “Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.’”
It seems the disciples must have faced a mountain of opposition to do what God had intended the people of this time to do. Jesus finishes with an incredible statement: This kind only goes out by prayer and fasting.
What we're facing today distorts points of view and doesn't allow people to think freely anymore. The culture indoctrinates them with this grip and captivates them. A future generation doesn't go out but by prayer and fasting.
It's time to pray.
