We live in a Spiritual World

Deuteronomy 32:8-9 (ESV)

“When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance,
    when He divided mankind,
He fixed the borders of the peoples
    according to the number of the sons of God.

But the Lord's portion is His people,
    Jacob (Israel) His allotted heritage.”

Deuteronomy 32:43 (ESV)

“Rejoice with Him, O heavens;
    bow down to Him, all gods…”

Genesis 11:1-9 (ESV)
“Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.”And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built.  And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.  Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.” So, the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.  Therefore, its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth. And from there the Lord dispersed them over the face of all the earth.”

Deuteronomy 32:8-9 (ESV)

“When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance,
    when He divided mankind,
He fixed the borders of the peoples
    according to the number of the sons of God.

Psalm 82:1-8 (ESV)

“God has taken His place in the divine council;
    in the midst of the gods He holds judgment:

“How long will you judge unjustly
    and show partiality to the wicked? Selah

Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
    maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.

Rescue the weak and the needy;
    deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

They have neither knowledge nor understanding,

   they walk about in darkness;
    all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

I said, “You are gods,
    sons of the Most High, all of you;

nevertheless, like men you shall die,
    and fall like any prince.”

Arise, O God, judge the earth;
    for you shall inherit all the nations!

Genesis 12:1,3 (NIV & ESV)
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you…in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Deuteronomy 32:9 (ESV)
But the Lord's portion is His people,
    Jacob (Israel) His allotted heritage.”

Deuteronomy 17:2-3 (ESV)
“If there is found among you, within any of your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, in transgressing His covenant, and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the host of heaven, which I have forbidden.”

Galatians 3:16 (NIV)
“The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.”

Luke 10:1-3,9,16-21 (ESV)
“…the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to go. And He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.” “Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.” “The one who hears you hears Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me, and the one who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.” “The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
