Pastor Gregg Matte continues his “Words With Friends” series by examining the concept of lust from Titus 2.
C.S. Lewis once described lust as “an ever-increasing craving for an ever-diminishing pleasure.” Our goal as believers should be to have an ever-increasing craving for Jesus, rather than the fleeting desires of this world. But in order to change our behaviors, we must first change our desires. Submitting our longings and desires to Jesus will bring a lasting fulfillment far greater than anything lust can ever promise to deliver.
