Jackson Demonstration State Forest (JDSF), located near Fort Bragg, California, is the largest of CAL FIRE's fourteen demonstration state forests, encompassing 48,652 acres. Established in 1949, JDSF strives to be a sustainable forest management practices, research, and education. Last summer, it was also the scene of a crime wave.
