Matthew 5:13-16
Jesus compared his followers with “salt and light”. When we think of the simplicity of these two elements, we see how they be at the same time, small in proportion but significant in effect.
At the same way, God calls us to just be there! Only when we understand that the problem is not the presence of darkness but the absence of light, we are able to stop blaming the problems around us and we start to let the Holy Spirit to shine through us. Let your light shine in the places where God shows you darkness!
This summer at Lifetree we are sharing how a small expression of the church spread out into the city is able to affect much more than a large group of people in a building: the salt is meant to be out of the box!
God is calling you and me to be the ones preserving, bringing healing and highlighting Jesus (the main course) to this generation.
What you have might seems small to you, but this little light is enough to bring clarity, direction and allow people to come to the family of God.
Connect with us in this message and let the Holy Spirit unpack the gifts He has placed in your heart.
