Bruce Friesen speaks on hearing God for this present season. In Matthew 16 Jesus shows that a compromised heart disables our ability to spiritually discern times and seasons. Bruce openly shares how God graciously turned him from feeding on the wrong voices during this pandemic and back to feeding on what God’s written word and Spirit are saying in this season.
In prayer he began to sense God speaking to him about what’s happening to the church right now through the image of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly; that there is a chrysalis season upon us in which old structures are dissolving and new ones emerging that will result in a church that can fly (move faster and further), pollenate (benefit the world), and reproduce (make disciples) - all things caterpillars cannot do.

3. What is God saying to you?
Actions:
Ask God for a spiritual diet plan for this season, intentionally feed your heart on what you feel led to feed on, and abide in God’s word.
