Romans 12:1-2
We often think of singing praises to God when we talk about “worship”. While singing greatly helps us enter into true worship, it is in itself not worship. Worship is the surrender of ourselves to Jesus as active Lord of our lives in response to encountering the magnitude of His love and goodness toward us. There is no true expression of church unless there is a group of people sincerely seeking to follow Jesus as Lord. Whenever we are submitted to Him as active Lord of or lives - even if just for a moment - we resist the pattern of this world and heaven is expressed on earth.

Question + Action Step: Let’s seek to live with a heart posture of worship that is consistently asking the Lord “What are you saying to me/calling me to do?
