Description

Caleb and Telsey Friesen share an Easter weekend message. Friday was gruesome; Sunday was glorious. Tragedy transformed into triumph. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus we see the greatest evil and injustice known to humanity turned into the greatest gift known to humanity.  This death and resurrection was the fulfillment of long awaited promise that looked very different than anyone had expected, and it shows us how the kingdom of heaven advances in a broken world. Through faith in Jesus - particularly His death and resurrection - we can live and work for good in this world fuelled by a living, resilient, indestructible hope in the face of any trouble.

Question: Is there any situation in your life or the world around you for which hope seems to have died?  What greater glorious good might God be working out through it?

Action: Take some time this week to meditate on the death and resurrection of Jesus, trust in God who is better than you think, surrender any limited view of fulfilled promises you may have, and expect God to revive living resilient hope in your heart that will fuel how you live and work in this world.
