Matthew and Neil welcome Brett Kaplan to the show. Who’s that you say? Neil kept asking himself that same question the whole show. According to Matt, Neil has met Brett many times although Neil believes this is their first time meeting.
We soon discover that Brett is a huge wrestling fan and one of Super Fan Tye Dye Guy’s best friend. Brett gives us a little backstory on how he befriended the “The Boca Wanderer.” He also shares the secrets of how Tye Dye Guy scores the great seats he does for all of the wrestling events.
Brett talks about BRCW and what it’s like going to the shows. Did you know Brett has been to every BRCW show so far? Neither does Neil The Heel (!), who also seems to be having a hard time getting Brett’s name correct.
We hear about the amazing bachelor party trip to Vegas that Brett went on with some of his friends. He was kind enough to tell Matthew about the trip….a week after he got home. His great time could’ve been the best time. Lesson learned. We also find out how Brett served Chris Jericho in the restaurant he works at. He told Matthew about that one too…a day later.
By the end of the interview Neil still has no idea who Brett is but at least he finally gets his name right and agrees that the interview wasn’t as bad as he thought. And that’s what goes down on this weeks episode of The Matthew Mania Podcast.
