The action heated up in part 6 of the Black Arrow. Ellsworth vowed to stop Joanna’s wedding. As the wedding procession enters the church three outlaws fire their black arrows killing Lord shoreby and wounding Sir Daniel.
Dick and Lawless are captured and accused of the crime. Dick defends himself to Earl Risingham and exposes Sir Daniels plot with the Yorkists to overthrow the Earl. Dick is set free to exact his revenge on Sir Daniel.
