This week we’re talking to prize winning author, Anthony McGowan.
Anthony’s first book, Stag Hunt was published in 2004 and he has since gone on to publish another 50 titles. Whilst his first book was a Crime Thriller, the majority of his work has been for children and young adults.
With a range of styles, Anthony’s writing appeals to all. From 2013 – 2019, Anthony published a series of four books, Brock, Pike, Rook and Lark, with publisher, Barrington Stoke, who create content for Dyslexic and reluctant readers. Rook was shortlisted for the Carnegie medal in 2018 and Anthony went on to win the medal in 2020 for Lark.
Anthony’s latest book, I Am the Minotaur, was published in January this year.
