In the podcast this week we’re talking to acclaimed author Joanne Harris.
Joanne is an Anglo-French writer, whose books include over twenty novels, two cookbooks and many short stories. Her work is extremely diverse, covering aspects of magic realism, suspense, historical fiction, mythology and fantasy. Her novel, Chocolat, published in 1999, went on to sell over a million copies in the UK alone and was adapted for the big screen in the year 2000.
Joanne is an Honorary Fellow of St Catherine’s College, Cambridge, and she was awarded an MBE in 2013. Her latest book, A Narrow Door, was published in August this year.
