Rob was born in Vancouver, Canada to Portuguese immigrants. He attended Vancouver College (class of 81) and the University of British Columbia where he received a B.Sc. in Cell Biology and his LLB. After a long and very rewarding career with the Federal Department of Justice doing tax litigation, he joined Thorsteinssons LLP where he is currently a partner specializing in tax representation and tax litigation. Rob has three sons, with the youngest in his last year of high school. Rob enjoys listening to classic rock (and playing it on his 78’ Flying V or EVH Wolfgang Special), travelling, working out, playing soccer, golf and doing any and all things with friends and family.
