I was part of a rally in Calgary to show support and solidarity for the Wet’suwet’en Nation and the violence they faced last year at this time and the violence they continue to face by the RCMP and by the Canadian Government and stakeholders of the Coastal GasLink pipeline. I also relate some of my most recent experiences with our health care system, and a social event I was at trying to enjoy some food and conversations when racism and privilege just had to show up.
