For everything else the church does make disciples is the center, It is core.
A disciple is one who finds, follows and becomes fully formed to be like Jesus.

Are you living the call?
1. Converts are believers who live like the world. Disciples are believers who live like Jesus.
2. Converts are focused on their values, interests, worries, fears, priorities, and lifestyles. Disciples are focused on Jesus.
3. Converts go to church. Disciples are the church.
4. Converts are involved in the mission of Jesus. Disciples are committed to it.
5. Converts cheer from the sidelines. Disciples are in the game.
6. Converts hear the word of God. Disciples live it.
7. Converts follow the rules. Disciples follow Jesus.
8. Converts are all about believing. Disciples are all about being.
9. Converts are comfortable. Disciples make sacrifices.
10. Converts talk. Disciples make more disciples.
1. To be a disciple I must follow Jesus.
John 12:26 If you want to be my disciple, follow me and you will go where I am going. And if you truly follow me as my disciple, the Father will shower his favor upon your life.
2. To be a disciple I must love Jesus supremely.
Luke 14:26You cannot be my disciple, unless you love me more than you love your father and mother, your wife and children, and your brothers and sisters. You cannot follow me unless you love me more than you love your own life.
3. To be a disciple I must love other disciples.
John 13:35 If you have love for one another, then everybody will know that you are my disciple.
1 Timothy 3:15 This family is the church of the living God.
1 John 4:20 “If someone says I love God but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar. For if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God whom we have not seen?”
4. To be a disciple I must do what Jesus tells me.
John 8:31 If you continue to obey my teaching, you are truly my disciple. Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

5. To be a disciple I must serve others like Jesus.
Luke 14:27 Anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
6. To be a disciple I must purpose to grow and produce fruit that glorifies God.
John 15:8 This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
the fruit of your life proves that you are a disciple
7. To be a disciple I must pass on the Good News of Jesus
Mathew 4:20 Jesus called out, ‘Come! Be my disciple. And I will show you how to fish for people,’ and they left their nets at once and went with him.
Is there a chance that anyone will go to heaven because of you?
