Did you fall for it? Did you think they would "release the files"? Or were you too smart. You knew better. You weren't surprised.
Both are bad.
Falling for it is obviously bad because you were a fool. But knowing better has its pitfalls. Paranoia and cynicism are no way to move through the world. Smug satisfaction with being right will not help. Perhaps because we are all so preoccupied with not being fooled, there aren’t as many consequences for the perpetrators. If you are betrayed or fooled, you would might be more likely to react in more extreme ways. If you already knew better, if you have that disaffected, "Well I’m not surprised by anything anymore," then you rest on those laurels and the world remains unchanged.
This episode is hybrid radio show + chit chat. The theme is being the fool.
