It’s been one whole year since your humble co-hosts tied the proverbial knot, so this week Justin has written a very special trivia game of “name that power couple”! We talk about some of the most trivia-relevant married duos across all categories of quizzing!

3:26: Q1 (Arts & Literature): He was an American abstract expressionist best known for developing the technique known as “action painting”.  She was also an American abstract expressionist, best known for her collages.  Name this dynamic duo of abstract art.

12:07: Q2 (Movies & TV): She is an American comedian best known for hosting a syndicated daytime talk show.  She is an Australian-American actress best known for roles on Arrested Development and Scandal.  Name this pair of small-screen stars.

21:55: Q3 (Times & Places): He was the first Angevin King of England, reigning from 1154 to 1189.  She was Queen of France, and later Queen of England, and the mother of two or three English Kings, depending on how you count.  Name this Middle Ages power couple (pun intended).

32:47: Q4 (Music): She is one of the best-selling musical artists of all time, known for the multiplatinum album Dangerously in Love and for headlining the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII.  He is known for The Black Album, and for being the first hip-hop artist to become a billionaire.  Name this superstar couple, collectively known as The Carters.

42:10: Q5 (Everything Else): He was a French physicist and a co-recipient of the 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics.  She was a Polish-French physicist, also a co-recipient of the 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics, and the only woman to be a two-time Nobel Laureate.  Name this nuclear power couple.

51:39: Q6 (Sports & Games): She is a retired professional soccer player, considered one of the greatest of all time, and once held the record for most career goals in international play.  He is a retired professional baseball player, best known as a shortstop for the Boston Red Sox, and for having a World Series ring, despite never playing in a World Series.  Name this all-star couple.
