In the first edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” for the 2023-24 school year from August 31, 2023, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports. In the first half of this episode, Ryan talks about the opening of seasons for SAU men’s and women’s golf and soccer. Ryan discusses the introduction of the new seasons, as well as recapping how the previous seasons had gone. Before a commercial break, Ryan talks about the hiring of SAU’s new baseball coach. After the break, Schiestel talks a bit more about the new baseball coach, and then talks about the beginning of the SAU women’s volleyball season. To close out the show, Ryan recaps the Fighting Bees’ first football game of the season, and highlights the next game on the schedule.
