In this edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” from March 3, 2024, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports. In a new form of this show, Ryan ditches the script, and just gives some updates and his thoughts on the states of multiple sports. In the first half, Schiestel discusses track and field, wrestling, and swimming and diving. Then, it’s cheer and dance with a special interview, wrapping things up with lacrosse.
After a short station break, Ryan discusses the struggling men’s volleyball season. Then, it’s the conclusion of the basketball season; in the meantime, softball and baseball are heating up. Ryan concludes the episode talking about off-season football. Ryan continues to remain hopeful for SAU sports.
