In this edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” from May 9, 2024, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports. To start the episode, Ryan talks track and field at SAU, where both teams placed 2nd at the CCAC Conference Championships. He talks about who won conference events, and the outstanding athlete at SAU. To conclude the first half, Ryan talks about SAU golf, where the women’s team is set for the NAIA National Championship. Following a station break, Ryan discusses the softball and baseball teams, both of which are in the conference tournaments. Although softball dropped their first two games for elimination, the baseball team made a push; they fell in the championship. The episode concludes with a heartfelt thank you from Ryan, as this is the final episode for the Spring 2024 semester. Ryan continues to remain hopeful for SAU sports.
