In this edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” from Nov. 16, 2023, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports.
In the first half of this episode, Ryan talks about the SAU cross country team’s upcoming national championship race. Then, it’s St. Ambrose bowling, as both the men’s and women’s teams continue their strong seasons. Afterwards, it’s the SAU women’s volleyball team, who won the conference championship and is now in the national tournament. To end the first half of the show, it’s a recap of the first KALA broadcast for St. Ambrose wrestling. After a short break, Schiestel breaks down the championship of the Fighting Bees women’s soccer team, who won the regular season and tournament conference title. Then, it’s the conclusion of the SAU football season. Finally, it’s Fighting Bee basketball. Ryan has very high hopes for the continued success of St. Ambrose sports.
