In this edition of “Schiestel Speaks Sports” from Sept. 28, 2023, host Ryan Schiestel talks all things St. Ambrose University Sports. In the first half of this episode, Ryan talks about the SAU football team. Then, it’s St. Ambrose soccer, as both the men’s and women’s teams try to build upon their early seasons to mid-season. To end the first half of the episode, Ryan talks about the tennis teams at SAU. After a short station break, Schiestel breaks down the steady play of the Fighting Bees women’s volleyball team, and the SAU men’s golf team. Then, it’s a brief segment on swimming and diving. Although some of the sports have gotten off to a slow start, Ryan remains hopeful for the teams at play.
