Description

In honor of Pride month, we're diving into the significance of queer representation in science fiction, fantasy, and superhero narratives. We'll discuss why representation is crucial, its particular importance to the queer community, and Hollywood's often flawed execution.

Joining us is special guest Shiri Sondheimer, a pansexual crone known for her passionate rants about books and comics on Book Riot and the Roarbots. Shiri's short stories appear in anthologies such as Unlocking the Magic: A Fantasy Anthology and Women In Horror 2016. She's also explored the interplay between music and creativity in "Fantasy Art and Studies" Issue 10 and contributed to the forthcoming The Expanse and Philosophy. When not weaving her "cactus garbage" genre tales, she's an amateur herpetologist.
