Space has become part of our everyday conversation and the barriers to entry for studying and exploring space are quickly dissolving. In fact, a group of students at the University of Alberta – or AlbertaSat – are on a mission to design, manufacture and launch a small satellite made of items found off the shelves of your local hardware store.
