When you started our child are center you had a dream, or in business terms, a vision. We typically don't discuss our vision with our team, we tend to share policies, procedures, checklists, and how to's. BUT when you take the vision you have in your head of how your center operates and turn it into a story, it's a game changer. Teachers see themselves as part of the story. When an employee sees themselves as part of the story they feel more connected to the center. It's understood how things are to work at the center. Your center begins operating just how you want it and your employees feel part of it, which is a huge benefit to employee retention!
