A proud resident of downtown Hamilton, Martinus is deeply passionate about cities, the creative arts, commerce, and his community. His affinity for urban renewal, construction and social capitalism (no, that's not an oxymoron), shine as he excitedly discusses the revitalization of Hamilton and its many diverse neighbourhoods with anyone that will listen. This excitement is further evident in his hobby of operating educational bus tours to rustbelt cities. In fact, over the last few years, he has led over 250 people on in-depth tours of Hamilton, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Detroit.
